Perfectly perfect

Life is perfect! I am married to the love of my life and each day I swear we grow closer and learn more about each other. The wedding was absolutely amazing- it was a true dream and I still cannot believe it's over. Bittersweet but SO amazing. I hope I never forget how it felt when we said our vows and I hope I never ever forget the look on Matthew's face when I walked down the aisle... Such precious and priceless moments!  I absolutely love being his wife. I love that we are responsible for each other and are holding each other accountable. I love that we really are best friends and he is the only one I want at the end of every day. Laying in his arms at night as we share about our days and the dreams we envision of our future home are the moments that make all the tough stuff  in life fade. I still look down at my ring and have to remind myself of my new glorious reality. There are no sweeter words that I'd rather say than 'my husband..' I jump at every opportunity to talk about him and tell EVERYONE that we are married :) We love all the attention we are getting at school as "the newlyweds on campus" it makes us feel even more official! Even though our schedules kind of ..suck.. and we never get to see each other during the day, except Mondays, I still know that at the end of the day, I get to see him and that makes every day, a great day regardless of what happens! He keeps me on my toes and always has me laughing.. it's kind of like watching the best romantic comedy ever....except that WE are the actors and it's not acting!
Okay so moving on...

GUESS WHAT?!......... we are getting our house!!! Like for real! we are closing on it this Thursday at 12:30pm. I cannot believe it is finally here!! A VERY LONG 7 month journey with many many tears is FINALLY OVER! There are no words to express just how amazing I feel. It's like my life is FINALLY going to be 100% complete (don't get me wrong, Matthew completes me, but a home completes US) It has been quite an experience and journey being married and living in his parents house- and we are more than blessed by the bed we sleep on and the roof that's over our heads. I have absolutely loved getting to be a part of a family.
I need everyone's prayers that Thursday..happens flawlessly. I am nervous, anxious, terrified, happy, sad... you get the picture. Please pray that everything goes smoothly and we have no kinks anywhere. Pray that emotions can be tamed until the right time... (especially for me!)
All I have done the past few weeks is phone calls and emails to the bank, the title company and the list goes on! tears well up in my eyes every time I picture us FINALLY being homeowners of my childhood home!
We have so much work to do to even begin to make the house in "livable condition" but we are ready to pour our hearts...blood sweat and tears into this sweet home! After all, we have had SEVEN months to plan our dream home :)

So please- LIFT us in prayer as we go headstrong face on into this new chapter of our lives.
